Mother’s Day Work Weekend

This weekend we were all busy working on the landscaping and getting the garden ready.  We planted many seeds yesterday and Reid helped to bury them.  He kept saying “night night” as we placed them in the soil.  Hopefully in a few months we will have a garden of envy and not a garden of ivy.

Garden Time

This past weekend/week we have been busy tilling, mulching and putting some sweat equity into the landscaping.   We are now building a few raised beds for vegetables this summer.  Since the family loves broccoli, tomatoes and zucchini this will save us a lot of money.

 

 

We are looking forward to a fun summer in June. 

 

PS-  With all that we do, we take turns keeping up with current events.   Apparently there is a lot of poop in the world according to Reid!  …His solution, we all get animal cookies.
