New Toys!

Andy came home yesterday from work with two new toys! The benefits of working for a company that test toys, there are always extras to take home!! Here is one of them, a police car. Reid loves it, he is mimicking the siren sound and just loves it when you push him around. The other is a kids picnic table, he is still a little small for it, but I am sure it will come in handy for many years to come. Growing up my grandparents had one very similar to Reid's and I remember fighting with the other grand kids on who got to sit at the picnic table. We sat at it WAY beyond what it was intended for, I remember some of us getting our legs stuck because they were to long! AH the memories!!! So here are some pictures of his new ride!

My new favorite picture. The leg does me in every time! Don't mind the dirty face, Reid HATES getting his face cleaned after eating. I figure there is no harm in a dirty face, not worth the fight.
Thanks Kade for my "retro rocket"!

"Odie"

Well, I feel confident in saying that Reid just said his first word beside Mama and Daddy. He actually says daddy not dadda. But the fist real word that he keeps repeating over and over while pointing at him, is "Odie", as in his big brother "Obie". He says it when Obie barks or comes in the room or is just laying there for Reid to play with. It is so cute. I think they are going to have a great relationship. When we go for walks, while Reid is in the stroller, he holds onto Obie's leash and just smiles. It is the cutest thing. Even when Obie pulls the other direction Reid holds on as long as he can. His little knuckles turn white he is gripping so hard. Sometimes he lets out a squeal when Obie isn't behaving. Too funny! I am trying to get it on video so you all can see, but it is hard to hold the camera and still push the stroller along. Here are some pictures of the two of them waiting for daddy to come home from work. Obie usually waits by himself at the door, but Reid just starting waiting with him! There's Daddy!
Yeah! Daddy's home!
