Hiking around....

Reid's walking stick!

Does this picture make you nauseous? If you look real closely with the magnifying glass you will see Reid's pacifier at the edge of the water in the mud!

This is the top of the canyon, where Reid threw his pacifier from.

This past weekend was Andrew's birthday so I tried to surprise him on a camping trip. Well the surprise lasted maybe 2 hours. I can't sneak around to do anything, first he saw that I used my credit card to book the pop up camper, (yes, for those that are wondering, pop-up?, we did rent a camper!) It just gets to cold at night (40F)for Reid and to be honest, myself as well! So, first he saw the rental charge, so I told him what we were doing, but did not tell him where we were going. Then a few days later, he found the receipt for the camper and read on it that we were going to Starved Rock State Park, and if that wasn't enough, then he went online to search more on the State Park!!! He is no FUN! We had a great time and Reid absolutely loved every minute of it, including throwing the pacifier down into the canyon! Enjoy the pictures. There are more pictures of random items along with this past weekend on the picasa tab on the left of this screen.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well, it has been a busy time with Kari and I working, fixing up the house and chasing after Reid. Probably many of you are in the same boat. So much to do and not enough time. We have had a great summer so far despite all the work. Friends and family have dropped by in July and August to lend a hand and provide some comic relief. Well... I think Reid has been the comedian, but really brings it on when there are new guests to hear his routine. We are going camping next weekend and now that Reid is walking, I know he will love it!

Reid riding the diaper horse. Giddy Up!

Michael and Reid playing in the cubby by the fireplace. I wonder if Kari could fit in there?
