Andy's mother, Edythe has been with us since Monday and she will be here until next
Thursday. Andy is going on a couple of business trips and she so graciously offered to come up and stay with Reid and I. Tuesday night Andy and I went downtown to the Chicago Theatre to see Celtic Woman. I got Andy tickets to the concert for Christmas. I made dinner reservations before the show and was really excited to have the night out with my husband, it's been several months! Traffic was bad and our navigation system was having trouble navigating with all the high rises. (Don't get me started, the biggest waste of money, don't buy a Magellan system.) Anyway, we could not find the
restaurant, so we had to cancel the reservation and eat at a sandwich shop across from the theatre.
ARRG! If you know me then you would understand my pain when I say, going out to eat is my favorite thing to do, and I was very bummed that something I had been looking forward to for two months didn't happen. The concert was very good and I am so glad we got to go! If you have not heard of them, check them out, they have
beautiful, crisp voices that I just LOVE!

Reid has been such a pill these last couple of nights and he seems to be getting worse. I think it is his teeth, he has three up top coming in right now and we all are getting very little sleep. I feel bad for Edythe, since she came all the way up here to spend time with her grandson and Reid is paying her back with little sleep and ringing in her ears! Cross your fingers that this little guys starts sleeping better. WE ALL NEED IT!!

Oh my goodbess. Those are the CUTEST pictures of Reid.
Those are awesome pics...but really this is a comment on you last post concerning Reid growing up picky. Think about it this way...I'm pretty sure you didn't eat crazy, gourmet foods when you were Reid's age...probably lots of meat and potatoes kind of meals...which hasn't made YOU a picky eater! I think that trying new foods will probably come into play more as Reid gets older. And they say that sometimes it takes 10-15 times trying something before a child learns to like it. Of course they also say that your taste buds change every 7 years...so tell Andy it's probably about time he tried mushrooms again! Although I do understand your issues with that...because if Brady grows up not liking seafood, I'll probably have a breakdown!
Good Advice Erin! Thanks!
