Ironman Daddy
Well, it's been a while since the last post, but Andy had said that he wanted to write the next post, but I couldn't wait any longer.
Where to begin?
Two weekends ago Andy and I volunteered at the Wisconsin Ironman up in Madison, Wisconsin, while Grandma and Grandpa W. came up to Chicago and watched Reid for the weekend. The first night away from Reid was very difficult and the next day I really wanted to go home to hold my little boy, but Andy talked me into staying and I am so glad we did. We enjoyed going out to dinner and discussing life......just like the old days. Andy and I really appreciated the mom and dad time away and I know that Reid and Obie really enjoyed their time with Grandma and Grandpa. Thanks again!
This past weekend Nana and Papaw A. came to visit and it RAINED the whole time. Eight inches to be exact. So we didn't get to take them downtown like we had hoped, but we still enjoyed seeing them. Sunday my Uncle Johnny, Aunt Denise, cousins Scott, Jamie, Craig and Angie swung by after going to a wedding. It was great seeing everyone and having lunch. Reid loves all his family, even Silly Scott and Crazy Craig!
Believe it or not, but I did not take one picture of any of the fam with Reid. I am HORRIBLE! I always say I am going to take pictures, but when it comes down to it, I forget. I will leave you with some I took today. He is now 3 1/2 months and weighs 13.5 lbs.
Oh, by the way, Andy signed up for another Ironman! I almost did too, then I woke up....someone has to be the sane one around here.

This is the cutest hat he got from his Great Aunt Roberta and Great Uncle Gene. It is called sweet pea. One of the leaves on top has wooden peas sewn into it. Adorable!!
