Good to catch up on the blog. Send Andrew our good luck wishes! I got your message yesterday. I don't know about a backpack. I have an Ergo. I don't know its guidlines or recommendations for back wearing. I love the backpack and use it often. You can have the child in front or back (i think ever side) and it will hold children up to 40#, which is needed with my moose.
Some of my friends have Kelty's... If that helps.
